Dinner Jazz Cruise on the Mississippi River
Cruising down the Mississippi is the perfect way to cool down during the Big Easy’s infamous hot summers. The Paddlewheeler Creole Queen has it all…an enticing view, delectable Creole cuisine, live jazz music and a trip to the most frequented Mardi Gras museum in New Orleans.
The Creole Queen was constructed in Moss Point, Miss., taking her maiden voyage on Oct. 1, 1983. The authentic paddlewheeler is powered by a paddlewheel that is 24 feet in diameter. The authentic cruiser comes with all the modern luxuries of the day, including heating and cooling, private rooms, stereo music and sound systems, modern restrooms and handicap accessible facilities.
The deck of the ship features authentically patterned wrought iron trims while the luxurious interior includes soft period lighting and wood parquet dance floors with Louisiana Cypress bars accented by brass railing.
